Video 11 Dec

I have some game audio related goodies in the works (being put up around the Christmas/new year time) but for now here is a little bit of music I’ve made for a group project.

The project is an interactive piece of learning software for children at KS3 level (age 11-14). It aims to show existing music from countries and our own modern interpretations of those. It has other stuff too but I might leave that explanation for a full post about it.

The first is a piece influenced by German orchestral music (specifically Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto’s). The violins are all performed by Iveta Hlavenkova (6 times per part, 3 parts) and then layered with sampler wind instruments and cello/bass.

and the second is influenced by French choral/orchestral music from the 18th century.
